 Hi there. This is my first ticket submission, so apologies in advance if
 I've made some mistake.

 I discovered this evening that I was unable to connect to MSN and was
 thinking that it may be something changed in the protocol.

 My reasoning is that I couldn't connect to MSN via Pidgin due to this
 error:

 [MSN_ADDRESS] disconnected

 The MSN servers are currently unavailable. Please wait and try again.
 }}}

 I did wait for a few hours, however, I have a virtual machine running
 Windows, so I decided to run Pidgin to see if I could reproduce the error,
 which (unfortunately) I did.

 I then tried clearing all of the settings in the .pidgin folder, and
 starting anew, to no avail.

 I finally attempted to connect to MSN via WLM in Windows to see if it was
 really my account or the servers that was the problem, I managed to log
 successfully. Pidgin was then loaded afterwards w/ yet another
 unsuccessful attempt at connecting to MSN.

 Useful environment information may be the following:

 Running Pidgin 2.2.1 in Ubuntu Gutsy 7.10 (final) FAILED [[BR]]
 Running Pidgin 2.2.1 in VMware Guest of Windows XP FAILED [[BR]]
 Running Windows Live Messenger in VMware Guest of Windows XP SUCCEEDED

 If anyone could help resolve this issue I would be very grateful (mainly
 because IMO Pidgin > *).
