Comment:

 The log only contains yahoo login attempts.  The error there is Winsock
 10061 ("Connection Refused"), this is most frequently caused by a
 firewall.

 Unfortunately just because MSN is working doesn't mean that it isn't a
 network issue; frequently firewalls will be configured to allow the native
 client, but not pidgin.
