 I'm not convinced that this bug is related to #1915.

 I specifically registered to post this bug, but luckily did a search
 first.

 #1915 states that the problem is that (sometimes) nothing happens when you
 double-click the system tray icon.

 This isn't the problem we're referring to.  Rather, when the Buddy List
 has an entry in the task bar, but it's not the top-most window, and I
 double click the system tray icon, I can see the window minimize,
 disappear and then the task bar entry also disappears.

 The request is that when we double click the system tray icon the Buddy
 List must become the topmost window, whether it is already a task bar
 entry or not.
