 Sometimes the poster doesn't quite get the description accurate, but the
 issue you're talking about is the same one.

 Yes, that is caused by the GTK+ bug.

 That isn't the desired behavior; ideally it should be made visible if it
 isn't completely visible and be hidden if it is - that allows you to
 restore the list, check something and hide it again by clicking a few
 times.
