 With Pidgin 2.2 at least, this bizarrely now needs two other application
 to receive the focus before trying to open the buddy window. It's still
 just as irritating - you check buddy list, go off and use other
 applications, double-click system tray, and nothing shows. It really does
 seem to be a focus issue - if you click on a blank area of the system tray
 first then double-click works immediately regardless of what you have done
 in-between.
