 Steps to reproduce:

 1. right click some special buddy with buggy-history

 2. view log

 3. enter text -> find

 4. Pidgin crashes. (core dumped)

 This happens only on one single contact, so I think, there is something
 weired in it. It's an old trillian-icq-log. When I delete that file, I can
 search the newer non-legacy history.

 The affected log isn't unusual big (1,3MB). Searching in the trillian log
 works for another buddy which has an 3,1 MB log very well. Encoding is
 UTF8 in both cases.

 I've attached a gdb-backtrace, the output "pidgin -d" didn't seem to
 contain any useful information for the problem.
