 No real ideas. Please make sure your system is fully up to date with
 latest bugfixes from fedora (yum update). You will also want to install
 the pidgin debuginfo package to ensure any backtrace you do get has debug
 symbols in. This is available with the pidgin repo enabled: {{{yum install
 pidgin-debuginfo}}}

 You can also attempt to get a backtrace from gdb when pidgin is frozen by
 interrupting with Ctrl-C and then type bt at the (gdb) prompt.
