 Yes, ":)" (actually, I should have said ":0") is not a word. But the point
 is that the text-replacement plugin is meant to help with spelling
 mistakes and typos, and for this (very frequent) typo there is no way to
 make the plugin work usefully. Whether it is a word or not ought not to
 matter, ideally.

 But yes, I can see that it's hard to fix, and understand why this isn't
 likely to be fixed :0 I mean :)
