 So, what are functional and practical concerns for autoresize as
 improvement of behavior?

 I guess there are two types of issues:

 1) bugs - "something is not working/crashed/not connecting" which are
 based on functional and practical concerns

 2) enhancements - "I'd like to have a feature...". It's about usability.
 And it's based on "I like/dislike" and "I feel comfortable".

 For me autoresize is reduction in usability. Especially, because it's not
 optional.
 Provide an option to enable/disable autoresize and everybody will be
 happy.

 Is it possible to downgrade back to 2.3.1? Any known issue there? Should I
 re-install pidgin or can install 2.3.1 over 2.4.1?
