 yeah, but it changes nothing. there is still no option to disable auto
 resizing feature and allow user to resize input field manually. That's my
 clue. Maximum size of 8 lines does change nothing if the initial input
 field size is still 2 lines.

 I don't understand, why it's being ignored by developers?
