 The only thing we are ignoring is repeated statements of "I want it
 because I want it" if you have a reason you need it to be resizable or a
 reason why two lines is absolutely unacceptable we want to hear them, so
 far no one has had any. Also there is a plugin in #5296 that allows you to
 resize it and a fork by the name of funpidgin as well.
