 Hello

 I managed to reproduce constantly...here are the steps

 1. Create Yahoo pidgin profile
 2. Add YOURSELF to as buddy ( it happens with others too...but this is how
 you can see it)
 3. Close pidgin
 4. Start pidgin
 5. I use collapsed buddy list, if this makes any difference, I use SOCKS
 proxy
 7. Double click your own contact and send message ....see my
 screenshot3.png. First messages are never received.
