 I managed to reproduce constantly...here are the steps[[BR]]
 [[BR]]
 1. Create Yahoo pidgin profile[[BR]]
 2. Add YOURSELF to as buddy ( it happens with others too...but this is how
 you can see it)[[BR]]
 3. Close pidgin[[BR]]
 4. Start pidgin[[BR]]
 5. I use collapsed buddy list, if this makes any difference, I use SOCKS
 proxy[[BR]]
 7. Double click your own contact and send message ....see my
 screenshot3.png. First messages are never received.[[BR]]
