 The way I see it, the prpl should provide the actual desired functionality
 to be invoked when the music emblem is clicked, but libpurple should
 provide a mechanism to capture clicks to the emblem. Is it even possible
 for a plugin to do this? Do we provide hooks for a plugin to use to
 capture these clicks?

 Not currently, that is the functionality this ticket requests to be added
 :)

 If this feature is not to be added, this ticket can be closed as wontfix.

 Yeah, that's ticket #4766, which could be implemented independently of
 this ticket.
