 When talking using XMPP to people, sometimes the server has connection
 issues with the other server.
 (googlemail and jabber.org in this case.)  The main effect is that
 whatever status a person had previously sticks.  So, it will show them
 typing (green) for minutes or having stopped typing (orange).  It would
 make sense to have these statuses wear off after 1 minute.  Since typing
 for that long for 1 message is uncommon and is more often from a glitch
 than being their legitimate status.  This tweak would probably apply to
 other protocols as well, but has mostly been an issue with XMPP for me.
