 Older versions will allow you to create "duplicate" accounts, but will run
 into the same problem when you quit and restart.  It never "worked", the
 functionality wasn't removed (the bug allowing you to create duplicate
 accounts was fixed)- the problem is that internally the accounts can't be
 differentiated.  It sounds like we also need to prevent accounts from
 being duplicated during an edit.

 A workaround for your situation might be to use the IP address for one of
 the accounts and the domain for the other.

 Other libpurple applications include finch, adiumx and instantbird.
