 Some people use to leave Pidgin running all the time without ever quitting
 it - They either never turn their computer off or they hibernate it.

 This works well at usual, but if conversation tabs aren't closed either,
 all conversations from several months are stored in one file. In the worst
 case, it's not possible to understand which messages belong  to which day
 because the day isn't logged either.

 Even if the day is logged, it is still confusing that chatlogs that belong
 to 2008-03-05 are sometimes stored in a file that bears the date
 2008-01-23 just because the conversation tab wasn't closed within these 3
 months.

 I think Pidgin should start new chatlog files at midnight.
