Comment:

 In the future, instead of deleting the prefs.xml file you would be better
 off moving it out of the way so that you can compare the new file to the
 old one and see what the differences are. Also you can then upload the old
 file (or snippets of it) to the ticket and we can try to figure out what
 exactly was going on.

 I'm glad you got it fixed though.
