 I (temporarily) used MSN Messenger (or whatever it's called nowadays) a
 few days ago for the first time to log into my IM account (after having
 used Pidgin for quite a while). Upon logging in, it received quite a few
 messages that had apparently been waiting on the server (some of them a
 few weeks/months old). They had for some reason never been received on my
 Pidgin.
 My guess is - they were sent by the other party while I was offline,
 received and stored on the server, and Pidgin didn't retrieve them for
 some reason. I'm not sure if it's the same with other protocols, though.
 Is the offline messages support not fully implemented (as per various
 protocols' default clients do it)?
