 Actually, to most users a protocol is referred to as a Network so that
 should work, right? And even when there's a problem with IRC when you ask
 about what network (without knowing it's IRC) People will assume you're
 asking for the server and give you "freenode.net" which I'm sure any of us
 can figure out is IRC. Or am I just loony?
