 also, sorry for the double post, but I don't see an edit button. Since
 this issue isn't specific to Pidgin only, I was searching for a fix to GTK
 or at least confirmation that *someone* was aware of how borked it was. I
 most certainly did '''not''' want to limit my search to this trac only.
