 I would like to be able to block all incoming messages from people not in
 my contact list.

 I would also like this feature to be protocol specific, i.e. - i'd like to
 be able to set it for MSN only (or only Google, or also Yahoo!, or any
 combination thereof).

 I know there is a plugin (privacy please) to do this, but it is not built
 for windows, and I feel that this feature should be in the core.
