Comment:

 It is perfectly reasonable to want to get the room list for a chat server
 other than the associated with the server you log in to, and it is
 perfectly reasonable for your login server not to list other chat servers.
 This patch would prevent users from choosing which server to list the
 rooms for.

 A patch to give the text area a text completion list for extra chat
 servers and/or a patch to make the text entry a dropdown entry (like the
 group entry in the Add Buddy dialog) would be reasonable and useful,
 though unrelated to the request here in any real way. (I'm not sure how
 feasible either of those ideas are given the way that the server selection
 dialog is currently constructed however.)
