 Thanks for the feedback. I'm still a little new to XMPP (and all my work
 with it is on a server behind a firewall which doesn't talk to anything
 else), so I probably don't understand s2s communication or even MUC as
 well as I should. Regarding getting a room list for a server other than
 the one associated with your server, how exactly is this done? If my MUC
 service is called "conference", to query it I must address "conference",
 not "conference at jabberhostname", which the server appears to interpret as
 an account JID, not one belonging to a server component. From this I'd
 concluded you can only address MUC components on your server. Similarly,
 how would I join a room on another server? I'd think it'd require sending
 presence to the unresolvable "roomname at conference_server@jabberhostname",
 correct? Thanks for any info you can provide.
