 First thanks for the answer.

 Found out with the IT people what was going on.
 The jabber server was used locally in the first times. They didn't have
 outside users so they named it jabber.local That started to build problems
 with Ubuntu somehow (because of the .local trail.

 When I configured my account I did it thinking on the external name of the
 jabber server jabber.retop but my account was built with the oder name
 jabber.local

 So solution was to set the Domain: jabber.local and the Connect Server:
 jabber.retop

 I'm connected right now with no problems.
