 I had mplayer, emacs, firefox running along with pidgin. 5 or 6 crashes
 for 5 minutes. Once the pidgin hanged - proecss was S+

 No time to do debug builds tonight... hope strace helps a bit. Since then
 pidgin is working. But this was third day it crashed.
