 I use Pidgin for Windows on Vista Home Premium Edition.

 I mainly use Pidgin for group chat on XMPP/Jabber-based chat rooms. In
 these chat rooms the room owner has a flag icon next to their name, and
 everyone else (including myself) has a contact icon next to their name
 (looks like this: (((-))) with a large dot instead of a hyphen).

 To see their status I have to right-click on them and select info. In
 other IM clients in the same room on the same server, I instead see their
 status as an icon (available, away, etc). Is there something I need to do
 to enable their status icons in Pidgin? Otherwise, this looks like a
 defect.

 Additionally, is it possible to sort them by their status (in the chat
 room list)?
