 No, is because pidgin has a bug. It saves passwords when the user said it
 must not.


 The behaviour should be reasonable, independent of the configuration. The
 reasonable behaviour would be to:
  - detect, if possible, that the server said "invalid credentials";
 require the password again
   - if is not possible, allow the user to retype the password by a 1 step
 action (i.e. a "retype password" button in the pop-up)
  - if the error is clearly of another nature than authentication failure
 (i.e. not a wrong password),  do not display the "retype password" button
