 It just did it again.  This time, I added the missing contacts in Pidgin.
 arranged them all in the groups the way I like them, everything looked
 hunky-dory.  I signed out later.  I signed into Pidgin one more time
 before bed, just to see if the changes had "taken".  I saw that the
 folders, again, were a mishmash of the temporary folders and the new
 folders, and that about 20 contacts were missing.  I signed into Trillian
 and found 22 orphaned contacts.

 Any help with this would be great.  The switching back and forth between
 the two clients really gives me a good comparison between the two
 interfaces, and Pidgin wins out in every respect... except for this
 problem.  Thanks for your help.
