 I have tested this patch with a friend of mine using Yahoo Messenger 8 for
 Windows sending me a 550 MB CD image.  I was able to receive the file at
 36 KB/sec, which is very close to the limit of his upstream connection.
 Are you sure your 6 KB/sec test isn't simply a case of a buddy with a slow
 internet connection?
