 Sorry we couldn't get this worked out, I'd be curious to see what kopete
 sends during connection setup (specifically the roster request period) and
 what the server responds with to see if there is anything obviously
 materially different. I'm unsure if kopete even offers the ability to see
 that information though and fully understand not having time to work on
 things. I hope kopete keeps working for you.
