 If i recall correctly xchat doesn't do /whois on every nick, but only
 /who, occasionally, on all channels. Downside is that it tends to throttle
 computer and server. I think undernet hated me for doing /who on #bookz
 and kept me disconnecting for throttling.

 Alternatively, we could do /whois for only those we have query open with
 (periodically) and remember values, this shouldn't throttle too much
 (about 10 lines per query).
