 Ok, now I see that pidgin "silently" reconnects... And that it puts mini-
 dialog in the buddy list...

 If I understand correctly, in such situation, in case buddy list window is
 open, pidgin causes it to spring on top of other windows or something like
 that. Can this behavior be disabled?

 Look at my request from a grandmother perspective.

 A toaster popup would be useful though.
