 In the previous version of Pidgin, I could use Ctrl+W to close a
 conversation panel but this is not working anymore.

 I use ctrl+w to close Firefox tabs as well and loved the consistency, but
 now it is broken. It would be perfect to have this back and, now that you
 can also Ctrl+Tab between panels as well, it would be perfect to have the
 same behavior on Pidgin and Firefox to switch and close tabs.
