 Comment #127 has a link to patched code, so the code has been contributed.
 It has nothing to do with the code having been written or not.

 One wonders what it means to have to contribute code that already existed
 in previous versions though.  Asking for contributions of code that
 already exists doesn't speak highly of the developers' revision control
 system.
