 I tried to reinstall pidgin with 2.3.1 version. First I keep during
 installation new GTK+ version which come with pidgin 2.4.0.

 After installation there was still the same issue with special czech
 characters.

 So I tried during intallation also reinstall GTK+ to version which come
 with 2.3.1 and now is the issue solved. I am back on 2.3.1 and will wait
 for your comments on 2.4.0. Maybe comment with GTK+ can be helpful for
 you.
