 I have Pidgin 2.4.0 on Windows. I see that the window with smileys tries
 to appear near the mouse position. But I press the "Smile!" button with
 the mouse, so actually it always appears in the same position.

 This irritates me, because the default position closes part of the
 conversation and input windows (I have non-default smiley theme with lots
 of smileys, so the Smile! window is rather large).

 As for me it would be a great usability improvement, if "Smile!" window
 will remember the position I moved it to and preserve it at least till the
 conversation window is closed.
