  * status:  new => closed
  * resolution:  => invalid

Comment:

 The messages from !NickServ appear because the privmsg's are being sent.
 We do not suppress these.  If you want them suppressed, use the irchelper
 plugin.

 The message from freenode-connect is considered a new session because it
 comes from a different nick.

 The bottom line here is that this is not a bug, nor is it something we
 have an active desire to "fix."
