 This is mainly a bump, as this issue STILL occurs.

 I am primarily a Web Messenger user, and have issues talking to friends
 using either Adium or Pidgin. This seems to be a problem with the MSN
 protocol handler in libpurple.

 Symptoms:
 After 5 mins, any messages I send are not received. If other person sends
 a message, they sometimes get the messages I sent, sometimes they are
 lost.

 If I reconnect Web Messenger, then I can communicate again.
