 While I agree that the current XMPP icon is ugly as sin, I don't
 particularly agree that the Google Talk icon is good not that that
 matters. I don't think we know, once an account is created in pidgin,
 whether it is an XMPP account or a Google Talk account which is something
 we would need to know to keep the 'correct' icon. Personally I don't think
 we should have a Google Talk entry at all, but I lost that battle ages
 ago. If you want to figure out how to do this (apparently we used to do it
 at some point) and submit a patch feel free. That being said I think all
 further discussion of this should probably take place in the open ticket
 (#5372) rather than here.
