 My Pidgin crashes with the attached error about twice a week on average,
 and always while I'm not actively using it. In case it is helpful I'll
 note that it has been crashing like this for every version since at least
 two or three versions back under GAIM.

 since
  we have no way of knowing what issue Ramon was seeing.
