 The configure script should be patched to check for a newer version of
 libxml2, since it seems that generically old versions of libxml2 will all
 cause received XMPP messages to be discarded.

 configure's current check for 2.6.0 is not good enough (e.g., 2.6.4 and
 even 2.6.16 causes problems); according to the discussion in #5411, 2.6.18
 should be a safe minimum required version.

 (This is a very trivial patch; it changes only two lines.)
