Comment:

 I would prefer to see a warning that some XMPP problems may exist with
 libxml2 < 2.6.17 instead of blocking them completely because we can still
 use libxml2 2.6.16 on some xmpp implementations, and some distributions of
 libxml2 2.6.16 may be patched with the necessary fix. (and I think we use
 libxml2 for things other than xmpp that may not be affected by this bug).
