 This sounds interested, but I don't think it's workable. Some account
 types (XMPP) require more information. Though, I suppose we could split on
 the @ sign in that case. I wonder about the implications for password
 saving. Does our existing password prompt offer a checkbox to save the
 password? If it did, I suppose this would be workable. However, my fear
 would be that people wouldn't realize there were other options available.
