 I was talking about putting the exact same fields that currently exist in
 the 'Login Options' section in the Accounts dialog. This would allow basic
 accounts to Just Work and still allow for the Modify button (and possibly
 the Add button when no username has been entered) to allow modification of
 the more complicated information.

 I'm not sure I understand the password saving question, I figured to have
 the remember checkbox present as usual. I don't think not presenting a
 password dialog makes sense, I doubt people will know what to do with
 that.

 Yeah, we would want to add a short explanatory message saying that the
 Modify button will allow configuration of advanced account settings. (It
 might also mean we need to change some of our defaults for things like
 email checking etc. and possibly even moving those sorts of things to the
 Accounts->[account] menus.)
