 I disagree, the tools menu may already be too big, but after looking at it
 theres only two options I use from it (plugins and preferences).  However,
 this doesn't really matter, what I really think needs to happen is that
 the tools menu needs to be redone to logically group items.

 For example, right now we have all the options that open some
 configuration window or the sort as the first group, which is sorted by
 name.  Which is stupid, because the sorting only makes sense for english.
 Then we have file transers, downloads, and system log grouped together.
 Can someone tell me what those 3 things have in common?  Finally there's
 mute sounds.

 I would then argue that we keep the items in the first group but add the
 room list and file transfers to it.  Then reorder them by the most highly
 likely used.  Something like, preferences, plugins, file transfers, room
 list, privacy, pounces, smiley, certs.  Then add a separator, and put
 system log and debug window to the next group.  Finally, leave mute sounds
 where it is.
