 It seems that the character 's' is a hardcoded shortcut for showing off-
 line buddies. It makes it impossible to create a friendly name that
 contains said character. Only way to change the name is to exit Pidgin and
 change directly in configuration file. Not very user-friendly.

 Pidgin 2.5.2, Fedora 8, Norwegian Nynorsk.
