Hello!
I'm using the latest version of Pidgin on Windows, using the GTK package
that comes bundled with that release.
So, if I navigate to the status menu with the keyboard, I should (if I'm
not mistaken) be able to start typing the name of the status, for
instance, 'A'+'V'+... for "Available," 'A'+'W'+... for "Away" and so on.
However this just completely doesn't work -- the menu doesn't respond to
my typing. Neither can I use the arrow keys to navigate in the status menu
list, as I can on the linux version.
I hope this helps, and thank you for a great program!

Comment:
Hi again. With the new version (of GTK+ 2.12.12 rev a, I guess), the
searching bug is resolved for me where in the contact list one could only
type in 1 character. But the behavior in the description of this ticket
still holds. Just thought I'd update (is this appreciated or annoying?).
