 Yeah, I figured you'd say that. ;)

 So how does this sound? Upon failure, try to verify again with that flag
 set. If it fails, we report the current ("invalid") error. If the second
 one passes, we tell the user that the cert uses an insecure algorithm (and
 then fail to connect, for security reasons).
