 Yes, my version of pidgin is built with Cyrus SASL support (Windows-
 binaries form pidgin website).

 Which modules are you talking about? Intentionally I did not installed any
 additional modules for Pidgin beside of what the Pidgin-installer
 installed. How can I find these modules?
